Epic Hexeris

So as promised I have devoted a small section to this cool caster Lord Tyrant Hexeris, and his new Epic form to be released in Domination.

I think after seeing the artwork, we can make a few assumptions.

Firstly, Hexeris will not change in stats or weapon, he might get a point of armor increase, but this is not certain. He does look a lot more imposing, which could suggest that he will be known as Dominar Hexeris, but this is pure speculation.

Secondly I would say its safe to say that he still wields Gulgata, however he might have lost beat back, but life drinker seems to be a safe bet, as are reach and magical

Furthermore epic Hexeris is clearly casting a direct damage spell, his current form uses soulfire, I think he might not keep this spell.

So what do we know about the process of turning epic. Well generally you keep your feat as a small spell or ability, and overall the character tends to refine his role, going from more generic to more specific, and should mark a change in his story. What change? I do not know, however we do know Hexeris is a very ruthless skorne, with no care for anything other than his own projects. His is friends with both Mordikaar, and Zaal, who are the only casters to use souls (mordikaar culls them, and zaal guides ours). We know hexeris has made use of his friends to better understand souls, and to make his own gem, that hosts one of his great ancestors.

What does this mean?

Well I am pretty sure eHexeris will gain Boneshaker, a spell that represents his feat very well. Furthermore, I think his soulslave ability will either become a passive once per turn channel or a beast bond. The real question is will he keep his Vampiric flare? ie will he still have vampiric reaving or psychic vampire? Or will those be incorporated into his feat? I consider Calaban from Blindwater a good counter part to hexeris, and his feat seems like something that hexeris could use. I would like hexeris to gain access to a soul mechanic, especially seing as zaal doesnt really use his souls himself, but redirects them.
I would also like obliteration being changed out for a different spell, like hellmouth or deathbringer. I dont know what will happen to his signiture spell, Death March, and if he will keep it, or if that will be converted into his feat, +2 mat and extra tokens for everyone that has been hurt? Unfortunately untill Privateer Press release the blurb, we cannot more but speculate.

My top bets in a quick recap are:
-armour 17
-Boneshaker
-soulslave as ability
-new spells
-soul based feat
-remains very much the same otherwise

Hopefully we shall know more from Gencon!

Greetz
